Overview
firestickiptvs.com respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our service to do the same. We are a service provider and do not host, produce, store, or transmit the content that is accessible through our service. Our service functions as an intermediary, providing access to streams and content sourced from third-party providers. We do not control, review, or endorse the content that passes through our service.
In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, we respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that meet the requirements set out below. This policy explains how copyright owners (or their authorized agents) may submit takedown notices, how affected users may file counter-notices, and how we handle repeat infringers.
Filing a DMCA notice is a serious legal action. Please ensure that you have a good-faith belief that the material in question is infringing before submitting a notice, and consult with an attorney if you are unsure whether the material is protected or whether your use is authorized.
Filing a DMCA Notice
If you believe that material accessible through our service infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3). To be effective, your notice must include each of the following elements, presented as a numbered list:
- Identification of the copyrighted work — A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notice, you may provide a representative list.
- Identification of the infringing material — A description of the material that you claim is infringing, together with enough information for us to locate the material on our service (for example, the channel name, URL, stream identifier, or other specific reference).
- Your contact information — Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address so that we may contact you regarding your notice.
- Good-faith statement — A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Authorization statement — A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Your physical or electronic signature — A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Notices that do not include all of the above elements may be rejected or returned for clarification. We will make a reasonable effort to process complete and compliant notices promptly.
Where to Send Notices
Please send your DMCA takedown notice to our designated copyright agent at the email address below:
Email: help@catchontv1.email
Subject line: DMCA Takedown Notice
To help us identify and route your notice promptly, please use the exact subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice." You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt, and we will review and respond to compliant notices in accordance with applicable law.
For non-copyright complaints or general inquiries, please use the same email address but use a descriptive subject line (for example, "General Inquiry" or "Support Request").
Counter-Notice
If you believe that your material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). A valid counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location at which it appeared before it was removed or disabled;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material;
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original takedown notice or that person's agent.
Send your counter-notice to help@catchontv1.email with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notice."
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed or disabled material in not less than 10 and not more than 14 business days, unless we first receive notice from the original claimant that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringer from engaging in infringing activity relating to the material on our service. This timeline is set by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(2) and reflects the balance between the rights of copyright owners and the rights of users.
Repeat Infringers
In appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, we will terminate the accounts or access of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. A "repeat infringer" is a user against whom we have received more than one valid DMCA notice, or who has been the subject of multiple takedown actions that we determine, in our reasonable judgment, to be valid. Termination may include suspension of service, removal of associated streams, and refusal of future subscriptions.
We reserve the right to define "repeat infringer" and to apply this policy in light of the specific facts of each case, consistent with applicable law.
Good-Faith Warnings
We take the integrity of the DMCA process seriously. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled through mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees incurred by the alleged infringer or by us as the service provider.
Accordingly, we may, in appropriate circumstances, sanction or disable the ability of claimants who file bad-faith, fraudulent, or knowingly false notices to submit further notices through our service. We may also refer apparent abuses of the DMCA process to the appropriate authorities. Before filing a notice, please confirm that you have a genuine, good-faith belief that the material in question is infringing.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this DMCA Policy from time to time to reflect changes in applicable law, our practices, or the operation of our service. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we handle copyright complaints.
Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of our service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
