firestickiptvs.com ("we", "us", "our") operates the website firestickiptvs.com and provides IPTV subscription services to Amazon Firestick users. We are a direct provider, not an affiliate middleman, and we collect only the information necessary to deliver your subscription, process payments, respond to support requests, and meet our legal obligations. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
Last updated: January 2025
Information we collect
Information you provide directly
- Account information. Your name, email address, and a password of your choosing when you create an account or start a free trial.
- Billing information. The name and email associated with your payment, and transaction identifiers returned by our payment processor. We never receive or store your full card number or CVV.
- Support correspondence. The content of any emails, chat messages, or support tickets you send to help@catchontv1.email.
- Service details. The device MAC address or playlist URL we issue to you so we can authenticate your stream and provide anti-freeze routing.
Information collected automatically
- Usage logs. Connection timestamps, device IP address, and stream-quality events recorded so we can troubleshoot buffering and prevent account sharing.
- Server logs. Standard web server request logs (URL, status code, user agent) for security and abuse prevention.
- Cookies. A single session cookie so you stay logged in between page loads. See Cookies and tracking below.
We do not collect biometric data, precise geolocation, contacts, or content of the streams you watch beyond aggregate availability statistics.
How we use your information
- To provision, activate, and maintain your IPTV subscription and the playlists tied to your device.
- To process payments and issue receipts, and to handle refunds where they apply under our refund policy.
- To respond to support requests and send service notifications (e.g. server maintenance, renewal reminders, anti-freeze upgrades).
- To detect and prevent fraud, unauthorized account sharing, chargebacks, and abuse of our infrastructure.
- To meet accounting, tax, and legal record-keeping obligations.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not send promotional email you have not opted into. You can opt out of non-essential service emails at any time by replying to any message we send.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the processors we need to run the service, and where we are legally compelled.
- Payment processor. Our card processor handles your transaction end-to-end. We receive only a transaction reference and the last four digits of your card for receipt matching.
- Email delivery. A transactional email service delivers account, renewal, and support messages on our behalf. It sees your email address and the subject line, not your payment data.
- Hosting and CDN providers. Infrastructure providers host our servers and route anti-freeze streams. They may log IPs for abuse prevention but cannot access your account or billing records.
- Law enforcement and legal process. Where compelled by a valid subpoena, court order, or binding law-enforcement request, we disclose the minimum data required. We do not volunteer data absent a lawful demand.
Processors are bound by written agreements that restrict them to using your data only to provide the service we have asked for, and to delete it when the engagement ends.
Cookies and tracking
Our use of cookies is deliberately minimal:
- Session cookie. A single first-party cookie that keeps you logged in during your visit. It is destroyed when you close your browser.
- Preference cookie. If you dismiss a notice, we remember that choice for up to 30 days.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or cross-site tracking tags. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any similar ad-tech SDK on this site. You can clear cookies at any time from your browser; the only effect is that you will be logged out and notices will reappear.
Data retention
- Billing records: kept for 7 years, as required by tax and accounting law in our operating jurisdiction.
- Usage and server logs: kept for 90 days, then automatically purged unless preserved for an active abuse or fraud investigation.
- Account data: kept for as long as your subscription is active, and afterward until you request deletion. Inactive trial accounts are purged after 12 months.
- Support correspondence: kept for 24 months so we can reference history if you contact us again, then deleted.
If you request deletion (see below) we remove your account and personal data from our live systems within 30 days, except where a legal retention obligation requires us to keep specific records (such as tax invoices).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Correct data that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Delete your account and associated personal data.
- Restrict or object to certain processing, such as non-essential emails.
- Data portability — receive your account data in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent for any processing that relied on your consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email help@catchontv1.email from the address on your account and tell us what you would like to do. We respond within 30 days, and we will never require you to create an account simply to ask about your data.
Security
- In transit: all connections to firestickiptvs.com use TLS encryption. Plain HTTP is redirected to HTTPS.
- At rest: account and billing-reference data is stored encrypted in our database.
- Access controls: only trained staff with a documented business need can access production systems, and every access is logged.
- Secrets: passwords are hashed with a modern adaptive algorithm; we never store passwords in plain text.
- Incidents: if a breach is likely to affect your rights, we notify you and the relevant regulator without undue delay.
No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at help@catchontv1.email so we can rotate your credentials and investigate.
Children
Our service is intended for adults. firestickiptvs.com does not knowingly accept subscriptions from, or collect personal information from, anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, email help@catchontv1.email and we will delete it.
International transfers
Our servers and processors may be located outside your country of residence. When we transfer your data across borders we rely on standard contractual clauses or a comparable lawful mechanism, and we require processors to apply the same protections described in this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices, services, or legal obligations change. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
